The Institution of Textile Technology is one of the Special Diploma Intuitions in Central Institutes of Technology Campus (C.I.T Campus) at Tharamani, Chennai Functioning under the administrative control of the Director of Technical Education, Government Of Tamilnadu. This Institute was established in the year 1965 with a 3-year Diploma Course in Textile Technology with an annual intake of 60 students. The curriculum is developed by the state board of Technical Education. This course is offered to both men and women.
