Established in the year 1958, the Central Polytechnic College, Thiruvananthapuram started functioning in a building in the campus of the School of Arts. In order to serve the needs of the industry in a better way other diploma branches like Electronics Engineering, Textile Technology, and Computer Engineering were introduced.
