Government Polytechnic, Bhagalpur was established as Bhagalpur School of Engineering with the aim of providing quality higher education in the field of Engineering & Technology on par with National Standards. It persistently seeks and adopts innovative methods to improve the quality of higher education on a consistent basis. Diploma in Textile Technology & Textile Design was started with 30 intake capacity and the branch was renamed as Diploma in Textile Engineering in the year of 2008.
