Jawaharlal Darda Institute of Engineering & Technology was established in 1996 with the motto of providing quality technical education in the highly potential Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. The institute is recognized by All India Council For Technical Education, New Delhi & is governed by the rules and regulations of AICTE and Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra. Textile engineering department of JDIET has established with an aim to nature the talent of students for serving the textile field. This course deals with the study of manufacturing of yarns, woven & non-woven fabrics. This stream provides extensive job potential in its various fields such as spinning, weaving, chemical processing, non-woven, knitting, research, garment manufacturing, apparel merchandising, fashion industry, automotive industry, medical industry, textile machine manufacturing, textile designing, textile marketing, fiber manufacturing, and Government Sectors, etc.
