In the textile industry, boiler/steam is generally used for different production processes, such as dyeing, drying, heating, etc. List of  boiler machine for Textile Mills and Apparel Industry is  closed vessel in which water or other liquid is heated, steam or vapor is generated, steam is superheated, or any combination thereof, under pressure or vacuum, for use external to itself, by the direct application of energy from the combustion of fuels, from electricity or nuclear energy. These are fired units for heating or vaporizing liquids other than water where these units are separate from processing systems and are complete within themselves. The definition includes water heaters that exceed 200,000 Btu/hr heat input, 200 degrees Fahrenheit at the outlet, or 120 gallons nominal water containing the heating capacity

Classification of boilers:

  • According to relative water and hot gases
  • According to geometric orientation of boiler
  • According to the location of the furnace
  • According to the method of water circulation
  • According to working pressure
  • According to mobility of boiler
  • 1.25

Rupees/KG of steam generation in India

Application  of Boiler

  • Spinning:  Spindle running & Yarn Washing
  • Fabric:       Fabric Washing & Ironing (with steam Iron)
  • Dyeing:      Coloring & Finishing Treatment
  • Others:      Polymer Treatment & Steam Turbine Powering

Concerning the printing process of the textile industry, from the first process of singeing machine to the last process of a pre-shrinking machine the textile mill cannot be separated from the steam.
Singeing machine uses steam put out the fire, the pre-shrinking machine uses steam to heat to bake the redundant water in the fabric.

The textile industry refers to all kinds of yarn, silk, rope, fabric and dyed products made of natural fiber or chemical fiber. According to the different raw materials,it can be divided into the cotton textile industry, textile industry, wool textile industry, silk textile industry, linen textile industry, and chemical fiber industry, according to the different production process, it can be divided into spinning industry, weaving industry, knitting industry, non-woven industry, printing and dyeing industry.Textile is one of the industries that can not live without steam boiler, no matter dyeing and drying, the boiler is an important factor to ensure the successful completion of the production schedule. As the textile industry belongs to the larger industrial category, the fuel consumption is very large, therefore, coal fired steam boiler is an excellent choice for textile manufacturers due to its low cost fuel.
